What we look at before assigning a vehicle
These decisions are taken before quoting, not during the trip.
Group size and luggage
Pax alone does not decide: large suitcases, camera gear or event material change the unit required.
Route and real distances
Icelandic distances are measured in driving hours and conditions, not in map kilometres.
Winter conditions
Wind, snow and road closures can force a same-day change; we plan alternatives before departure.
Access and road type
Some accesses, including mountain roads, are only passable in certain periods and with specific vehicles.
Driving hours
Driving hours are respected when planning the day; an over-long leg gets split or re-sequenced.
Season and daylight
In winter daylight limits the itinerary; in summer it allows longer days. Transport is planned accordingly.
